Manhattan native, Erica Hunt, has studied at the University of Vermont and San Francisco State University. Her poetry has appeared in countless anthologies, journals, and other publications including Boundary 2, In the American Tree, Poetics Journal, Pessimistic Labor, Vanishing Cab, and Iowa Review. Her honors include several awards and fellowships, including The Fund for Poetry (1993), Blue Mountain Center Fellow (1992), Djerassi Resident Artists Program Fellow (1989), Duke University/University of Cape Town, South Africa Fellowship in Public Policy (2004-2005), and Fellow in Poetics & Poetic Practice at the Center for Programs in Contemporary Writing, University of Pennsylvania (2005-2006). Hunt lives in New York and works as a program officer for a social justice funder.
